    Our steering committee meetings are held at the Haller Lake Community Club located at 12579 Densmore Ave. N., Seattle, WA. 98133.The steering committee meetings begin at 7:00PM, generally last until 9:00PM and are open to club officers, committee members and invited guests.

    Our meetings are held at the Haller Lake Community Club located at 12579 Densmore Ave. N., Seattle, WA. 98133.

    The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with a social half-hour. People can visit with each other and check out the raffle, fly box, library, membership, and outings tables. There may be a pre-meeting educational program such as a fly tying demonstration. At 7:30 p.m. we begin the business meeting, which typically last about 30 minutes.  We then take a short break and everyone is invited to enjoy free refreshments in the break room. 

    After the break, we have the speaker's program. Our speakers are usually fishing guides, authors, conservationists, etc. talking about some aspect of fly fishing. People are on their way home by 9:00PM.

    Guests: If you are not a member please be sure to introduce yourself  and sign in at the membership table near the door.  You'll get a name tag, a free raffle ticket, and additional information about the club.

     Ready to get dirty for a good cause?

     The Miller and Walker Creeks could use your

     help restoring these two streams in Burien

     which still support a small run of Coho each

     fall. We will remove ivy and other invasive

     plants, and plant native plants to restore

     habitat along Miller and Walker creeks. No

     experience needed; tools provided.

     Where: Walker Preserve Park in Normandy

     (S 168th St & 2nd Ave S) - Meet at this intersection at the Walker

     Preserve sign, then walk through the gate, cross the creek, and

     go left down the trail.

    The Washington State Council Fly Fishers International (WSCFFI) is putting on its annual fair on Friday May 3rd and Saturday May 4th. This year's event is the 13th annual event. This event is free of charge. For more information, please click here.

    FFI Certified Casting Instructors will be offering workshops on Friday and Saturday. Gary Borger will also offer casting workshops. The Overlake Fly Fishing club will host the new FFI Casting Challenge. Free fly tying instruction for beginners will be available all day Saturday.

    The annual Awards Banquet and Auction will be held Friday evening. Tickets for the banquet are $45 per person and can be purchased online at the website

    If you volunteer to work at the fair, you can attend a free Volunteers Dinner on Thursday evening May 2nd. Please register as a volunteer  by clicking here

    The Annual NFA Picnic will be held on Thursday, July 11th  at the Innis Arden Club House in Shoreline. Please note the picnic takes the place of our July meeting but is not on the 3rd Thursday that we normally meet.  The club house is located at 14300 N.W. 188th St. Seattle, WA 98177.     The club will provide Swedish meatballs, hotdogs and brats, and a vegetarian option.  Members bring a potluck item.
    If your last name begins with:

    • A-H, bring side dishes
    • I-Q, bring desserts
    • R-Z, bring appetizers

    The club will furnish ice tea and lemonade. If you want something else to drink, bring a non-alcoholic drink. Food and fun begin at 6. There will be lots of opportunity to socialize. Bring the whole family and friends.

    Please be sure to register so that the organizers know how much food to bring.
